Head Coach Nic Cardoso

A former Brazilian Professional Soccer Player who now leads the Tate High Men's Soccer Program. Coach Nic is a well respected area coach who has been a coach for the Gulf Coast Texan Soccer Club for many years as well as the director of the Gulf Coast Texans High School Academy.

Assistant Coach/ Faculty Advisor Kathryn Venettozzi-

Kathryn Venettozzi, also a native of Pensacola, graduated from Tate High School in 2007. She grew up playing soccer for Pensacola Futbol Club where she was a member of the only State Cup championship team in the area. While playing forward and right midfield, she contributed many goals and assists for the select team.

Playing three sports for Tate, Kathryn was a key player for the girls soccer team. She was selected for the Pensacola News Journal’s All-Area team and Florida All-State Team.

After graduating from Tate, Kathryn pursued degrees in Art and in Business Management from the University of West Florida. Outside of the University, she studied and worked in Personal Training and Strength and Conditioning Programs for local high school athletes.

Kathryn now teaches English at Tate where she runs Strength and Conditioning Programs for many of the high school’s sports. After coaching Girls’ Basketball her first year teaching, she returned to her soccer roots assisting with Soccer.


JV Coach Caio Cardoso

Coach Caio, a current University of West Florida mens' team player, will take the lead for the Junior Varsity team this year. Coach Caio will bring his considerable soccer knowledge and enthusiasm to help develope our younger players and prepare them for one day joining the Varsity team.
